The
three Owen brothers - Harry, Frederick and Robert - commenced
trading in electricity metering in the 1950's at their
premises Phoenix Works, Lees, Oldham. David Owen, Frederick's
son, took over the business in 1970, trading under the
family name.
In
1996 we relocated to new purpose built premises a quarter
of a mile away. Since that time the Company has continued
to provide a wide range of electro mechanical, single
and three phase, electronic and card pre-payment metering,
current transformers, test terminal blocks etc. With our
experience and expertise we are able to repair and service
electro mechanical metering, programme electronic meters
to suit requirements and can advise on, and supply, all
metering needs.
In
recent years we have expanded into energy management systems
with an electrical engineer who is an expert in the field.
We have a worldwide customer base. Whatever your metering

In
September 2004 we purchased part of the electrical product
range from Campbell York, Guiseley, Leeds. We are in production
from our Oldham works and can offer top quality Test Terminal
Blocks for CT operated polyphase metering, Cyclim Voltage
Test Lamps, low voltage Proving Units, Fused Voltage Test
Leads, and heavy duty Fuse Cut-out Bases for BS88 fuses.
